02 - About the Work
The artist’s collage series discusses specific topics such as education, annual events, or worldwide ideologies. He purposefully creates a composition with a variety of images to look like one piece and harmonized (a flow from one image to another). A logo, symbol or figure is placed in the middle of the paper to convey the main idea.
The realist recently completed an eighteen month charcoal drawing for his big sister and immediate family in order to build stronger bonds with them as a lot of issues had occurred in the past. Upon completion in August 2020, his future outlook on life and identity has changed significantly. He has learned that he can stay committed to anything even in times of uncertainty and major setbacks. His increased confidence level has led him to become emotionally vulnerable to his audience. He wants to utilize his artistic practice and personal experiences to be informative and inspirational for the general public in whatever endeavour they pursue.
Being an artist is not just about sharing his talent. He sees the career path as a way to contribute back to society anyway he possibly can. His true vision can be seen in his previous works “Education Matters” and “A Women’s Dignity”. One day, he will serve as an aspiring artist and a role model to young adolescents through his actions.
